with the President of the United States

Hosted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

and the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships

Download a flier/bulletin insert that can be distributed at gatherings of your faith community in the days ahead. The text includes information about the call and a list of new benefits that take effect in new plans on/after September 23.

September 23 will mark the six-month anniversary of health care reform. You are invited to join President Obama for a conference call to discuss key new benefits of the Affordable Care Act. As trusted messengers, it is important that faith leaders have the most up-to-date information and resources about these new benefits to share with our communities of faith and congregations.

Highlights of the call:

• HHS officials will provide an update on the Affordable Care Act, highlight new outreach resources, and answer questions from faith and community leaders.

• Leaders will also share their efforts to bring the benefits of health care reform home to communities.

• President Obama will speak to key issues related to health reform implementation.
